KingsIsle Entertainment is an American video game development company dedicated to creating family-friendly MMO games.

Based in Plano, Texas, Kings Isle Entertainment was founded by Elie Akilian in February 2005 along with co-founders Tom Hall, of id Software and Ion Storm, and J. Todd Coleman of Wolfpack Studios, who each head their own teams. The company is dedicated to developing high quality family-friendly and kid-safe games, including MMO’s, which have earned them various awards including the Parent Tested Parent Approved Media Seal from the National Parenting Publications Awards. Their first game, Wizard 101, received the Best Family MMO of the Decade title from Massively.com, and Best Family Game of 2009 from MMORPG.com. The game’s player-base continued to grow steadily after its release, and as of November 2014, had around 50 million registered players. KingsIsle Entertainment also has another development studio based in Austin, Texas. Kingisle self-publishes their own titles.
