Dineo Nchabeleng was born in Pretoria, South Africa, and spent the majority of her childhood in the Eastrand. She completed her nursery and primary education there before attending the National School of Arts, where she majored in classical music. Dineo began her career at the young age of seven, marking her as one of the few budding child stars in South Africa at the time.

Dineo Nchabeleng’s career began with roles in international feature films such as “My Brother the Egg” and “Beat the Drum,” the latter of which won over 20 international film awards. She also gained experience as a television presenter on SABC 1’s “Yo.TV: Blue Couch” and SABC 2’s “School TV.”
Generations
Her big break came when she joined the cast of South Africa’s biggest soap opera at the time, “Generations,” on SABC1, where she played the character Angela Mogale. Her performance on “Generations” made her a household name in South Africa. After four successful years on the show, she decided to explore new opportunities.

Dineo Nchabeleng has continued to make her mark in the industry with roles in Etv’s “Gold Diggers” (Season 2) and the Magic In Motion academy-produced film “Sofa Silahlane,” where she starred alongside Bohang Moeko and veteran actor Seputla Sebogodi.
Most recently, she played a lead role in the EVOD SA original action feature film “Whatever It Takes,” which won a SAFTA in 2023 for Best Made For TV Movie. She also featured in two Mzansi Original Movies: “Mjolo Ke Pandemic” and “UmshadoWethu.”
